Call for Presentations

You are invited to submit a proposal to be a presenter at the 2012 Southeast Educational Conference, hosted by the Greater Orlando Area of Meeting Professionals International (MPI), August 7-10, 2012, in Orlando, Florida. Members of MPI, as well as non-members, are being invited to submit proposals.

MPI is the leading global association that defines and shapes the meetings and events profession. Its vision is to be the pivotal force in positioning meetings and events as strategic components of an organization's success. MPI is the world's largest association of meeting professionals (a combination of planners and suppliers) with almost 30,000 members in 64 different countries. The SEC is an exciting opportunity for qualified speakers to gain exposure to MPI's powerful audience. Attendees from throughout the state of Florida and the Southeast region are expected to attend. The SEC Educational Committee is accepting proposals now through January 31, 2012.

The educational program will be developed around our theme of Meeting Forward. The SEC is designed to support MPI's commitment of providing programs that enhance the growth and development of its members. The conference theme, location, marketing, and educational programs will offer topics that support all thirteen of the Skill Families created and identified by MPI. There are more than 160 skills in 13 major skill families. These skills can be measured by taking the Member Solution Self Evaluation Assessment provided by MPI at: www.mpiweb.org. The education committee will encourage all participants to take the assessment prior to attending the conference.

The Call for Presentation must be POST MARKED OR RECEIVED no later than January 31, 2012.
